Initially, Ethitex will be targeted at universities and research institutes – basically anyone that is carrying out research using animal tissue. In the future, we envisage including teaching-only organisations, from high schools to tertiary institutions, in the Ethitex community.

A pre-condition of subscription will be that the subscribing institution adheres to an internationally recognised code of practice for animal research.
